Join us at the ESKFF N.E.S.T. to go deep with your healing grief process

Guided by the four elemental spirits and ancient wisdom, we will co-create various rituals to commune with grief. 

We will open pathways to honor, release, and alchemize the sorrows that live within our hearts. 

These rituals will be both a sacred moment in time for deep healing and provide support tools for grief revisits throughout one’s life.

This one-day grief ritual will allow for deep healing in the community as we lean on one another through the magic of gathering in a circle.

In this ceremony, we will commune with the sacred plant, Cannabis, to reflect on our innermost selves and connect with spirit in community.

We are each the Visionary Leaders of our own lives. The path of Purpose brings many moments of initiation as we follow the heart’s calling. Initiation simply means “to begin.” Every step on a Visionary journey is a new beginning – with new lessons and opportunities that empower insight, healing, and sharing one’s gifts. 

Each of these steps also requires different things from us, calling us forth to grow into our fullness of Being, just as the oak tree emerges from the acorn. When we invite the consciousness of Nature into our lives in an intentional and rhythmic way, we find a dynamic support network of Visionary guidance and spiritual nutrition helping us forward in manifesting the deep wishes of the Soul. We find lessons of Initiation into who we really are at the deepest levels, what our guiding purpose is, and how we can intuitively navigate our paths of Purpose. This is Wild Wisdom in action.

In this evening session and daylong workshop, we will begin exploring these Visionary themes through storytelling and an introduction to a powerful set of deep sensory practices that connect us with Nature both within and around us. This is a chance to be with the mysteries of the living landscape, inviting curiosity and awe as we nourish and ground into our embodied connections with Earth and Soul. 

This special event is also the kickoff for an ongoing monthly series of Wild Wisdom talks and workshops (see below for topic - dates TBA, more info coming soon), in which we will gather regularly as a group to deepen these practices. Monthly gatherings allow a space in which we rhythmically attune to the unfolding seasons and the transformative lessons in Nature, building a community of practice around deep nature connections and the visionary work supported through these connections.

A moving meditation for body, speech & mind No experience necessary * all are welcome

Tara Dhatu was established to protect the dance’s integrity as a Vehicle of Liberation. Tai Situ rejoiced in witnessing the devotion and peace transmitted by the dance and encouraged it to be broadcast, in video and in communal celebrations, throughout the world. And so we are...

Together, we will explore the historic roots of the use of drum and rattle by ancient shamans. 

Participants will learn techniques based on “Core Shamanism” as taught and practiced by Michael Harner.

Open to all with an interest in this ancient method of traveling to other realms to seek insight, guidance, help with healing, and contact with spiritual helpers. If you have a frame drum or rattle, bring it along. 

There will be additional drums available to borrow. 

We will close with purification and drumming in our wood-fired sauna. Bring a towel and clothing to sweat in.

Rattles are the sound of the North in the medicine wheel. Their sound assimilates the rain and is therefore a good cleanser of dense energies stuck in body, mind or spaces. They are also used for traveling into other realms, journeying to the North where our ancestors, teachers and guides live.

In this workshop, Mia Luz will guide you in crafting a traditional corn-filled Elk-rattle for ceremonial and healing use.
