HV Psychedelics Society - Monthly Meetup with Charley & Shelley Wininger

Join the Hudson Valley Psychedelic Society, Forest Haven, and The N.E.S.T. for a monthly community gathering on the last Thursday of most months.

This event is designed to foster open dialogue, share experiences & build community support with the fascinating world of psychedelics.

In September, we welcome Charley & Shelley Wininger, who will be sharing on the topic: MDMA As Relationship Superglue

Can couples bond through bliss? Can MDMA and other such medicines help imbue a relationship with the strength that’s needed to get through the hard times? As the “chemical of connection,” MDMA can offer couples a visceral experience of their “we-ness,” and help them rekindle the kind of love that brought them together in the first place.

The inevitable complaints and resentments that can plague a couple are put into perspective when the container for the relationship is one of joy, play and profound connection. Charley Wininger and his wife Shelley describe how the skillful use of MDMA for both healing and pleasure, especially over time, can have a cumulative effect that can help a couple build a sustainable bond.

Charles Wininger, LP and LMHC, has been a psychotherapist in private practice for the past 35 years. He specializes in couples work. His book, "Listening to Ecstasy: The Transformative Power of MDMA" was inspired by his marriage to Shelley.

Shelley  is a retired RN with forty years experience in critical care. She is the inspiration behind "Listening to Ecstasy" Charley's love letter to her -- and to MDMA. For the past five years, she's been developing her work guiding women on how to use Cannabis to enhance their sex life.

This is a free event. Monetary donations are welcome.

Please bring a healthy snack to share.
