Join the Hudson Valley Psychedelic Society, Forest Haven, and The N.E.S.T. for a monthly community gathering on most months.
This event is designed to foster open dialogue, share experiences & build community support with the fascinating world of psychedelics.
In June, we welcome Naomi Katz and Robert Wordsmith for a unique journey exploring psychedelic consciousness through a deepened relationship with Nature—as a living thread that connects, nourishes, and sustains the intricate web of life we are part of.
We, the human nation, live in direct reciprocity with the plant nation, feeding and being fed, all held within this great web of life. When we return to our original human way of gathering—sitting in a circle around a fire—our nervous system remembers how it evolved: in connection. Psychedelic consciousness restores our awareness that we are woven into this living web. We are the body of the universe. We are bodies of water.
About Facilitators:
Naomi Katz is a ceremonialist, educator and movement facilitator.
Inspired by the indigenous practices of the women of the earth, she has traveled the world studying ancient wisdom. Through ritual, ceremony, word and movement, she creates transformative spaces for humans to remember our essential relationship with our source and embody practical tools to maintain an ongoing relationship with the sacred in our day to day lives. She carries the altars of the chanupa (peace pipe), temezcal and Four Tobacco Ceremony, passed into her hands by her teacher, Carmen Vicente.
Robert Wordsmith has been walking the Red Road for the past 25 years. He is a guardian of the altar of the temescal and a carrier of the peace pipe. A master fire keeper, he has worked throughout Europe for over 20 years. Robert is an artist who works with his hands to build sacred instruments for the people. He is a wood worker and furniture maker with over 20 years of experience. Robert is committed to the renovation of the sacred culture of the masculine for the honor of the seven generations who walked the earth before us, and those who are yet to be born.
