Join Stefanie Frank, N.E.S.T. director, and her dear friend Gala Narezo for three days of co-created ceremony, altar building, and Sweatlodge/Temazcal.
You are warmly invited to join us for ceremony, connection, storytelling, music, shared meals, and healing in community, centered around our Friday Temazcal/Sweat Lodge ceremony.
A Temazcal is a pre-Hispanic sweat lodge ceremony traditionally offered to support physical, emotional, therapeutic, and spiritual well-being. It can be a space to release what no longer serves you, to mark an important life passage, to deepen your relationship with yourself and the natural world, or simply to enter into prayer and renewal.
We envision this gathering as an opportunity for reflection, letting go, setting intentions, crossing thresholds, and celebrating the transitions unfolding in our lives. It is also a time for our communities to come together—to witness, support, and uplift one another through whatever passages each of us may be navigating. Together we will create sacred space, honor the four directions, and celebrate the courage it takes to grow, heal, and transform.
Whether you can join us for the entire gathering or simply for a portion of it, your presence is welcome. Come as you are.
Our Time Together:
Thursday – Arrival & Preparation:
A day of arriving, grounding, connecting, and preparing the lodge, the land, and ourselves.
Friday – Community Creation & Temazcal / Sweat Lodge Ceremony:
Together we'll complete our preparations, share meals, create an altar to the four directions, and gather for our Sweat Lodge ceremony in the early evening. Following the ceremony, we'll enjoy a simple meal together and continue the evening with storytelling, music, and community.
Saturday – Integration & Community:
A spacious day for rest, reflection, nature, conversation, song, laughter, and simply being together as community.
What to Expect:
A community-supported and collaboratively held gathering
Shared, community-prepared meals
Ceremony, storytelling, music, and meaningful conversation
Time for reflection, connection, and integration
A welcoming space for people of all genders, ages, backgrounds, and spiritual traditions
There will be ample time to simply be with the land. Wander through the woods, sit beside the stream, meditate beneath the trees, or listen to the songs of birds and flowing water. We welcome you to enter into a relationship with the more-than-human world, allowing the beauty and wisdom of the land to become part of the ceremony itself.
Who is this for:
Friends, family, and children are welcome. We simply ask that everyone help us care for the shared space, the ceremony, the land, and one another.
What to Bring:
A dish or ingredients to share for our community meals.
An instrument, a song, a poem, a story, or a simple ritual to share if you feel inspired
Your open heart and willingness to be in community
We look forward to gathering in prayer, laughter, healing, and community.
A tent, sleeping bag, whatever is necessary if you'd like to camp on the land.
If camping isn't your style, indoor accommodations are available at an additional donation
