March 2026 at the N.E.S.T.

Dear N.E.S.T. Community,

As we move into the second half of this decade here on Mount Guardian in the Hudson Valley, I find myself pausing—almost as if perched at the edge of a branch—feeling the icy cold, listening for what wishes to take flight next.

There is a special clarity that comes from tending something with devotion over time.

When we gather to practice, to pray, to sing, to grieve, to celebrate—when we return again and again—patterns form. Pathways are worn softly into the forest floor.

The rhythm becomes familiar.

Wash, rinse, repeat, as the bottle says. And yet in that repetition, something sacred takes root.

The NEST has become a living rhythm. A returning. A remembering. A steady heartbeat of community.

Over the holidays, revisiting Fiddler on the Roof stirred reflections on tradition. Tradition as a foundation.

Tradition is the sturdy trunk that holds us steady through changing seasons.

There is deep comfort in ancestral wisdom, in time-honored forms, in songs that have carried generations before us.

And yet… if we are not mindful, tradition can become a cage rather than a nest.

As we move forward, I am setting intentions to honor both the ancient and the emerging—to bow deeply to those who carry lineage and embodied wisdom, and to welcome those who feel called to shape modern offshoots.

The old growth and the tender new shoots. The rooted and the rising.

Birthday Gahterings

It is with humility and quiet strength that I continue to steward this container—to hold a space where we can land, rest, molt what no longer serves, and dare to spread our wings when it is time.

Conscious Beauty Day at the N.E.S.T.

With care, we are so happy to share news of our upcoming Gatherings at the NEST. You are receiving this because you asked to be part of this very special community.

These offerings are being held close, like something precious in a well-tended nest.

We have lovingly curated our programs and chosen our facilitators through deep personal relationship and experience.

What brings my heart joy is when I hear participants share their feelings of acceptance when they are here in this Nest.

Most importantly, they feel they are able to be themselves.

They meet others who are also seeking comfort, healing, connection.

I look forward to receiving you here and sharing the joy in my heart, my nest, with you.

With loving care,

Stefanie
